Mentoring: Sharing Experiences Between Practitioners

Objective: Development of bilateral cooperation between RUBIKON Centre and Norwegian partner Wayback in the field of Mentoring with a focus on overcoming communication barriers between institutions and clients.
Summary:
The project will strengthen the mutual partnership with Wayback and further develop the Mentoring service through closer cooperation and direct exchange of experience between professional counsellors and mentors from both organisations. A specific theme in the development of the Mentoring programme will be to facilitate communication and information transfer between clients and institutions in an understandable way. For this purpose, 2 working visits to the partner countries will be carried out and each partner organisation will develop a product/information material aimed at effective and comprehensible transfer of information to clients about the rules of serving a sentence and the possibilities of obtaining professional assistance aimed at preparation for release and subsequent integration.

Working visits
Objective: To enable direct exchange of experience in working directly with clients for practitioners from both partner organisations through two working trips to the partner countries and working visits to both partner organisations.

Creation of information materials/products.
Objective: Create two products/information materials aimed at effective and understandable information transfer to clients.

Coordination of activities and dissemination of outputs
Objective: To coordinate activities, disseminate outputs and ensure publicity of the initiative.
